CAREER RECAP:

2024: A key player for the Cougars, he started every game during the 2024 season, serving as a cornerstone in the team's impressive run to the 5A State Championship Game. His stellar performances throughout the season earned him Second Team 5A All-Conference honors, and he delivered a memorable showing in the state tournament, including a crucial 5-meter save in the championship game.

Nicknamed “The Condor” for his remarkable wingspan and ability to command the goal, Jake has solidified his reputation as a top-tier goalkeeper. His talent and dedication earned him selection for the USA Water Polo ODP National Team Championship, representing the Pacific Northwest Division.

Jake currently attends Caldera High School, where he competes as a member of the varsity water polo team. In addition to his high school achievements, he plays for the Bend Waves Water Polo Club, further honing his skills at the club level.

2023: Served as 1A behind senior Emil Bowadt, gaining valuable insight and experience throughout the season. Featured in several games.

Favorite Water Polo Memory: Traveling and staying in Orange County with the MV team. It was really fun to stay in a house together and play water polo with the Southern Water Polo Club players.  We packed in a lot of fun things like training on the beach, eating In N Out, walking the Belmont Pier and body surfing at Huntington Beach.
